Our company in a nutshell
Help to give our guests the time of their life ... while you have yours!
PGL is the UK's leading provider of UK and European residential activity holidays for children. More than 400,000 eager young guests have the time of their lives on a PGL holiday each year and its our enthusiastic, energetic staff that enable us to make that happen.
Widely recognised as the UK’s original and biggest operator of summer camps and school activity holidays,
many of our guests came to know us as “Parents Get Lost”
, but we also operate a programme of family holidays so that parents can come too!
As a founder member of the British Activity Holiday Association (BAHA) along with our substantial bond with the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) we provide our guests with the security and stability of travelling with a reputable Company.
Due to our high standards of safety and staff training we are recognised by all the major activity organisations and licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) for activities.

While we are widely known for our centre based opportunities we do regularly recruit for our Head Office – Alton Court - in the gorgeous Ross on Wye, Herefordshire.

We actively encourage our staff’s career development and many of our senior staff, managers and head office team have worked their way up through the ranks. Experience is not always necessary for many our Head Office and Centre Based roles - more important is enthusiasm, a good attitude and a sense of humour!
At PGL we believe that great staff is the essence of our success. This ethos applies to all of our positions – centre or head office based.
