Graduate Teaching Assistant for primary school in Southwark/South London September start date, 1 year contract with permanent opportunity and teacher training offered from September 2025. £85 - £100 per day/ £425 - £500 per week Are you graduating this year and looking to start your career within education? This inclusive and support primary school in the heart of Southwark are looking for strong graduate teaching assistants with a passion for passing on their knowledge. As a teaching assistant you will be based inside and outside of the classroom, providing support to the class teacher, pupils and SEN (special educational needs) students. You will help with setting up the classroom, preparing materials, supervising children in groups and 1:1, work with slower learners, ensuring good behaviour and much more This role is to start from September and will be on a long-term contract basis, it is full time and the hours will be 8:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. This is an amazing opportunity for an aspiring teacher, as this primary school is able to offer the successful teaching assistant a permanent contract from September 2025 along with the potential to assist you in teacher training.
