About The Training Room:
As of the end of 2011 The Training Room had 107 staff members in total, including both office based staff and our tutors, and had trained almost 6000 Personal Trainers. We are proud to say that we are the biggest provider of Personal Trainer qualifications in the UK, a role we take very seriously. The Training Room is more than just a Personal Trainer academy; it's a full service careers provider.
The Training Room was born from the realisation that gyms struggled to recruit industry ready Personal Trainers. There were a lot of training providers offering the qualifications but they weren't providing the wider skill set and a lot of Personal Trainers, although qualified, weren't ready to do the role.
We consulted the industry leaders, found the needs of employers and worked backwards from there in order to build a training model that guarantees success to its Personal Trainers.this explains why we deliver Level 2 and 3 as part of a package along with workshops. With this package of qualifications, delivered to The Training Room's high standards, we know that our graduates are in a position to walk straight into work. The training allows them to gain the qualifications they need but also to learn a code of conduct for the working environment. The Training Room prides itself on being able to mentor its students and help them build people skills and a deeper understanding of the industry.
The Training Room is strongly focused on recruiting the very best. Our team, throughout the company, is young and dynamic reflecting the fitness industry and aligning with The Training Room's goals and philosophies. The Training Room staff are innovative and forward thinking enabling us to provide great customer service and continuous improvement. All of the Training Room academies are staffed by a minimum of two full time tutors and this has been the case from day one. We care about our tutors and have high standards with regards to recruitment. In return we provide them with ongoing development and progression opportunities to allow them to grow personally and professionally in this ever-expanding industry.
