The job

Summary of the job role

Here at TPRG, we believe that internships are one of the most important stepping stones to building a successful and rewarding career. This is your opportunity to get stuck in to an environment you've never experienced before, to learn on the job, test yourself and to decide whether this is the industry for you.

An internship doesn't just kick-start your entrance into the professional world, it is also the chance to meet some inspirational people and learn from the very best. Above all, it's a chance to dive into the deep end of a business which is constantly evolving, challenging and exciting.

The Theo Paphitis Retail Group is a private group of businesses owned by its Chairman, Theo Paphitis, one of the UK's most high profile business leaders. It includes Ryman, Boux Avenue, Robert Dyas and the London Graphic Centre.

When we scour applications from our potential interns we don't just look for people who are passionate about retail, but for people who have an entrepreneurial spirit, who thrive under pressure and who think outside of the box. We look for the proactive, progressive, motivated 'doers' among you - those who are destined to build the businesses of the future.

The Opportunity

Your responsibilities in this role will start from day one. You will be a hands-on contributor to the business, learning from the experts, so you'll need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up. You'll have the opportunity to work in a number of key areas including our Marketing, Buying, Merchandising, HR, Finance, Operations or supporting the Group CEO and his Commercial team. You could be based at either our Wimbledon or Crewe sites but whichever location you will have the potential to learn how our business really works in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of retail.
