Who we are

Founded in 1810, Travers Smith is an elite corporate law firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom. We advise national and multinational companies in the UK and internationally across the full range of corporate and commercial matters. We now have over 220 lawyers located at our two offices in London and Paris.

Right from the word go, you'll be learning from lawyers who are recognised as leading experts in their specialist areas.

We only offer training contracts to people who we believe have the potential to become partners in the firm and we're particularly proud of the fact that almost half of our partners trained with us.

Towards the end of your training contract, we'll ask you which department you'd like to join and we'll do all we can to make that happen. Because we have a policy of not over-recruiting, we can almost always offer our trainees a long-term career with us.
