The Vodafone story

We're one of the world's leading mobile communications providers, operating in 26 countries and in partnership with networks in over 55 more. Across the world, we have almost 444 million customers and around 19.5 million in the UK.

We made the first ever mobile phone call on 1 January 1985 from London to our Newbury HQ. Still located in Newbury, we now employ over 13,000 people across the UK. Ours is a story of investment, innovation and award-winning customer service.

Our truly multi-national working environment is reflected in us having over 55 nationalities in our graduate population. This helps us create the innovation and variety that multi-cultural teams enjoy.

Giving Something Back

Our Giving Something Back programme lets all our people take up to three working days of paid leave to support a charity or community project that's close to their heart. Volunteering is a great way to make a real difference - and have some fun, too.

We'll also boost your charity fundraising by matching it up to £1,400 each year - doubling your power to make a difference.
