Summary of the job roleJob description Urgently required an Account Manager for our USA J1 team based at our offices in London. We are a specialist International Recruitment Consultancy, founded in 1970 with Head offices in Mumbai. We pride ourselves on being Specialist Hospitality Consultants for Recruitment of chefs, Managers and interns for UK and USA. Our client list includes reputed hotel chains, restaurant groups, catering companies, fine dining restaurants all over the UK and four -five star properties in the USA. Primary function of this role is consulting with our clients, advising them and proceeding with the preparation and submission of client applications to specific deadlines, liaising with client and other third parties to obtain correct documentation and information. We are looking for a team player who is confident, trustworthy, hard-working and can work under pressure, yet be able to process multiple applications on a daily basis. Job Description: Ensuring internal systems are updated to ensure information held on candidates is up to date You will be expected to hold the responsibility of monitoring all the applications for DS 2019, and DS160 pertaining to US Visa applications. Mostly dealing with young graduates, trainees traveling on the J1 Visa. Designs and implements methods of assessing the suitability of students for internships Counsel Students & brief them about the USA Program Working closely with UK team and ensuring the company database is kept up to date with all client and candidate information Promoting the J1 internship program with suitable host companies in USA. Working with host companies who are large international branded hotels and resorts to develop training plans and to customise them for specific students Working with sponsor companies to arrange sponsorship for students to train with designated host companies Liase and manage students with host companies and sponsors Explain the training plan to students Work with students for visa, entry clearance and collecting documents for visa Responsible for the pre-departure orientation for students Liasing with team in India to ensure smooth operation You must ensure that all the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents Monitor the smooth processing of all applications, from the time the applicant registers up to the Visa and travel. Feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research to senior staff. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisation Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in Account Management, processing & procedural compliances USA. Experience in a similar role is essential as is the ability to demonstrate that you have attention to detail. Experience in liaising with interns, clients, Visa Application Centre, Travel Agents, Clients / Companies etc. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, GoogleApps, Xero and QuickBooks software Strong interpersonal skills and good team player Strong communicator Multi-tasking, highly organised, excellent attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required.
