Delivering effective, high performing advertising campaigns for many of the biggest clients in their industry, they work with Lego, Warner Bros, Hasbro, Disney, Nintendo, and many others. This part of the company is the world’s leading only COPPA compliant, safe social content platform purpose-built for the kids market. It’s a safe, moderated medium for kids to engage with their favourite content and brands, designed specifically for the safety and data privacy requirements of the under-13 audience. It is used by top brands and YouTubers in the US, UK, and Canada, including Nintendo, Disney, and Kellogg’s. Headquartered in London, the company has offices in New York, LA, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Bangkok and Sydney. This is a 3 month internship paying £1,250 per month and is designed to lead to a permanent graduate job. How you can expect to spend your day; The Content Producer will help produce, manage, and publish digital content for the Australian app. Based in London, and reporting to the Head of Content, you’ll be joining their international editorial team. You will work closely with the Commercial Director, developing content strategies, and schedules for the Australian channel and partner channels. You will be joining a team of dynamic creatives, and will develop a deep understanding of global product operations. Day-to-day tasks will include learning about the following. Creating, designing, and publishing engaging content for the Australia app. Editing and proofreading all content that goes live to assure perfect execution. Supporting and managing the onboarding of influencer channels and associated content feeds, in order to ensure they are executed well, in a timely fashion. Using content management systems to analyse traffic and user’s engagement metrics. Supporting the development of a local “Australian” content calendar and plans aligned with short-term and long-term market targets. Collaborating with marketing and design teams to plan and develop app content, style and layout. Overseeing content compliance, to ensure any content published is compliant with Australian laws (e.g. copyright and data protection). Staying up-to-date with what’s hot and trending in the kid’s space, to create exciting content that will engage and inspire under 13s. Supporting any content marketing initiatives to help drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. Supporting & managing content distribution to online channels and social media platforms. Collaborating with their campaign team on any sponsorship support requirements. Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost. Developing editorial governance skills so content is consistent with their brand voice, style and tone. Working closely with the Australian sales team on pitches and content initiatives. Working closely with the company’s APAC team, responsible for ensuring smooth communications between APAC and the UK team. The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications; Desired Skills and Experience: Graduate to 1 year experience in content management. Solid understanding of social media, apps & video platforms. Good experience with Adobe Creative Suites (especially Photoshop). Ability to identify key market insights and analyse data trends. Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). Great insights into Australian kid’s online content interests / top trends/ influencers. Superb time management skills. Some experience in creating content for apps and web and growing a social audience. Good editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it. Ability to analyse and present content and social performance. Any experience with Google Analytics, Trello, Slack, and the top social channels would be an advantage.
