As a Recruiting Expert at Hays, you will develop and manage your own client portfolio through a variety of sales initiatives. You will source the most suitable candidates on behalf of organisations you’re working with ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

Entrepreneurialism is encouraged, and you are free to work with a high degree of initiative and autonomy allowing you to be accountable for your success.

On any given day, amongst other things, you are likely to be involved in the following:

New business development

Presenting Hays’ recruitment methodology to organisations / clients

Gaining exclusive business with organisations / clients

Proactive on-going management of client relationships

Attracting talent through advertising campaigns

Screening and interviewing candidates

Attending promotional and networking events

Delivering a highly professional business consultancy service in a complex environment - both with clients and candidates - will not only sharpen your sales and consultancy skills, it will hone your commercial acumen and experience.

Grad placement to Director in 5 years

I started as an intern for Hays working as an industrial placement student and rejoined the group after graduating. Unlike other graduate schemes upon joining Hays you are given real responsibility from day one. No two days are ever the same; you’re constantly doing different tasks and visiting new companies and empowering the world of work. It is a fast paced and enthusiastic work place.

I have been promoted 5 times in 5 years and now manage our Financial Markets division managing 25 consultants and a P&L of nearly £3.5 Million
